Sheol

The abode of the dead in Hebrew thought; Psalm 116 describes the cords of death and torments of Sheol, highlighting God's deliverance.

Shaddai (Almighty)

A divine name meaning 'Almighty', often associated with the Abrahamic covenant and God's all-sufficient power.

Most Holy

The Hebrew superlative form of holiness, denoting a state of complete consecration to God and inviolable sacredness.

Covenant of Liberty

A covenant made by King Zedekiah to release Hebrew slaves, echoing Mosaic Law's prescriptions for manumission and reflecting God's concern for justice.

Word of the LORD

Divine revelation and command through the prophet, the authoritative source of judgment and promise, central to Jeremiah.

Refuge

Refers to God as a shelter and safe place for believers, expressing complete trust in divine protection.

Peace

A state of holistic well-being and harmony under the messianic king, stemming from righteousness.
